A non-refundable deposit in amount of 1300.00$USD is required to hold a spot on Equine Photography Tour in Poland 2023. Remaining balance 2300.00$USD will be due on September 23, 2023 (PayPal invoice will be sent to you at the beginning of September 2023). If your balance will not be paid on or before the due date, your spot will be filled from the waiting list. If your spot is filled, you will lose your deposit. If not, you can still secure your spot by paying your balance.
There will be no refund for delay or cancellation due to weather or any other unforeseen issues before arrival, during or after the scheduled tour. In addition Katarzyna Okrzesik-Mikołajek is not responsible for any additional costs that may be incurred by cancellations due to weather, flight delays, visa issues and other unforeseen issues.
Katarzyna Okrzesik-Mikołajek reserves the right to cancel this Tour if it does not meet the required minimum enrollment (3 under the total spots available). If that happens all money collected for deposits and remaining balances will be totally refunded. Please note that if you cancel your space on any tour – your deposit and/or balance collected for that event remain non-refundable.
Following the protocols in place per local and/or federal guidelines regarding COVID-19, if Katarzyna's tours cannot be held on the announced date, then a new date will be set and the tours will be postponed. For this reason please don’t book your airfare until this Tour is confirmed that it is a go.
If the new date of the postponed Tour would not suit you, Katarzyna Okrzesik-Mikołajek can agree to transfer the deposit to another 2023 or 2024 Tour. This change can only be made once, then the deposit is forfeited.
Any tour booking spot switch is possible up to 6 months before event date, if deemed applicable.
If all spots are full, you can sign up to the waiting list. The waiting list also requires an advance non-deposit payment. If the spot will not open for you until September 29, 2023, your deposit will be refunded.
However, anytime we choose to travel, we must acknowledge the risk of contact to COVID-19 or otherwise and each person shall be completely responsible for themselves at all times and will have to adhere to all measures of safety being implemented by Katarzyna Okrzesik-Mikołajek during any workshops, tours and events.
Due to ever-changing travel restrictions, we strongly recommend that you purchase quality travel insurance.
Following the protocols in place per local and/or federal guidelines regarding COVID-19, face masks can be required for all participants and Katarzyna's team members when indoors, in vehicles or when physical distancing of six feet or more between people is not possible. Masks, hand sanitizer and daily vehicles disinfection will be provided.
Following the protocols in place per local and/or federal guidelines regarding COVID-19, Participants can be required to self quarantine before and after each tour and to provide a negative test result before travel to a destination.
During this Tour individual room accommodation will be provided. However, when traveling between different destinations, our place of accommodation will be changed frequently.
The fee for this Tour does not covers meals. When ordering your meals in different restaurants, let us know about your allergies.
During our meals all state, federal and local guidelines will be followed to ensure everyone’s safety.
Katarzyna Okrzesik-Mikołajek reserves the right to take one over the limit on every workshop, tour or event.

Katarzyna Okrzesik-Mikołajek and her employees, our hosts and horses owners are not responsible for any personal injury or damage to property arising from incidents occurring at the Tour venue. You are responsible for your own safety at all times. When you sign up for any of Katarzyna's workshops, tours or events you certify that you are in good general health and that you do not have any physical or other disabilities that would place either you or other participants in danger.
The Participant allows the Tour to be photographed, filmed and recorded for future tours promotions.
During this Tour teaching classes will not be provided.
The Participant is obliged to equip himself for the duration of the Tour with his own DSLR or mirrorless camera and a 70-200mm, 300mm, 200-400mm (or similar) lens.
Most of the sessions will be adapted to the telephoto lens space. In some exceptions, you might need lens between 35-50mm.
During this 7 days and 6 nights long Tour we will travel some distances between photo locations to capture changing scenery and variety of equine models. Most days of this Tour include morning and afternoon photography sessions (weather permitting). However , one morning will be designated for longer break. If our schedule allow, we might spend some time on sightseeing local attractions (participation is not obligatory).
For the care of a good atmosphere during the whole Tour and the comfort of all photographers during photo sessions, the ability to collaborate in a group is necessary. Each participant shall conduct themselves in a civil manner not only to hosts but to each other. There will be no tolerance for rude behavior. Katarzyna will give one warning before you will be asked to leave the group without any refund whatsoever and it will be your sole responsibility both physically and financially to make arrangements to leave the group immediately. These workshops , tours and events are supposed to be fun and enjoyable to all, so please act accordingly.
Katarzyna Okrzesik-Mikołajek reserves the right to find a suitable replacement for myself in the event of a tragic accident or unforeseen event that would keep me from attending any Workshop, Tour or Events.
