This event is much more than just an occasion to take part in organized photo sessions. With over 10 years of experience running a variety of workshops, tours and portfolio days, I would like to invite you to my Equine Photography Portfolio Long Weekend in Giza, Egypt 2024. This event will take place at Albadeia Stud, a breeding farm of one of the pure Straight Egyptian Arabian Horses.

Established in 1935 family breeding farm of Straight Egyptian Arabian Horses.
This oldest private stud in Egypt and one of the oldest in the Middle East & Africa, is focusing on continuing the original owners vision of breeding the the finest Straight Egyptian horse based on one of the oldest bloodlines.

Unique photography opportunities
During our stay in the area of Cairo & Giza, we will focus on capturing purest Straight Egyptian Arabian Horses while dancing on sandy paddcoks with textured backdrop of beautiful walls, posing in the gardens and stables, running on dunes of desert, performing in surroundings of ruins, playing traditional desert scenes with a camel and people in traditional costumes.
Participation in this event is a great chance for hobbyists and experienced photographers to stretch their artistic abilities and capture hundreds (or perhaps thousands) of images of beautiful Arabian horses!
This event is an exclusive and intensive program that provides a great opportunity to build your own portfolio, capture one-of-a-kind frames, and improve your photography skills through the many opportunities that we will provide you with! All this was combined with a pleasant atmosphere and lots of fun within the small group.

During the daytime, our participants will be taken on guided tours to discover the greatest attractions of ancient Egypt.

Your stay
Our guests will be accommodated in city of Cairo, in Steigenberger Pyramids Hotel**** , where each of them will enjoy staying in their own private room. Pick-up and drop-off from Cairo airport, as well as transport during the duration of the event, will be provided.

Out of concern for the quality of the transferred knowledge, this masterclass will be hosted for small group of students.
Taking a great care for comfort during our photo sessions and work in intimate groups is my priority. 

Arrival & departure
CAIRO, EGYPT (CAI)

Our first session will take place afternoon 14th of November. Please plan your arrival to Cairo on the Thursday 14th of November before 2pm.
Our last session will be scheduled for the morning of the 17th of November. Please book your departure from Cairo for Sunday the 17th of November not ealier than 1pm.
Your pick-up and drop-off will be arranged.

Gear required

Please bring with you a DSLR or Mirrorless camera, 70-200mm (or simillar) & 35mm (or simillar) lenses.. Don’t forget to bring a laptop with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Lightroom software, and additional cards or external disks for storing many photos that we will take during our  practices.

This workshop is dedicated to people who already have a basic skill in photographing. Whether you are a beginner, a hobbyist or a skilled photographer, you are more than welcome to join us to boost your portfolio.
