This event is much more than just an occasion to benefit from organized photo sessions and the lessons taught, but you will also take part in a photography exhibition!
With over 10 years of experience running over 70 workshops, such as masterclasses, tours and portfolio days, I would like to invite you to very special event that will definitely be your lifetime experience - a Equine Photo-Art Project 2025. This event will take place in Spain at Yeguada Sierra de la Espada, a breeding farm of one of the most extraordinary P.R.E. horses.

About Yeguada Sierra de la Espada
Established in 1986 family breeding farm of P.R.E. (Pura Raza Española) horses.
Focusing on a beautiful type with excellent quality, it is also an extremely exclusive breeding farm of some of the most extraordinary horses of pure Spanish breed - with exceptional beauty and very rare coloring among this breed: white masks, four white legs and blue eyes. Apart from this rare markings, their herd also features other interesting coat colour representatives - from diluted to classic ones.
 

Your stay
Our guests will be accommodated in a beautiful town of Archena, in Hotel Hyltor SPA**** ‌ (25 minutes drive from Murcia and 1h drive from Alicante), where each of them will enjoy staying in their own private room. Continental breakfasts will be served at the hotel. Other meals will be organized close to our locations on current day.

FULL PHOTOGRAPHY EXPERIENCE

A HUGE DOSE OF KNOWLEDGE - During this unique event, you will gain knowledge that I have been gathering for over 18 years. Theoretical classes will allow us to better prepare for the creative sessions, and the skills acquired during these days will bring your photography skills to a new level. 
Starting with topics such as setup while photographing in motion or working in difficult light conditions. I will help you to master many technical issues. I want to tell you how my preparation for different photo sessions looks like, what are location selection criteria, and how to work with horse models and assistants during the shooting. I will help you create award-winning photographs by showing how to select right frames, studying composition techniques and understanding color validity in your art. You will also find answers about promoting your work, drafting contact and I will present you my own module of valuing our work, giving you right tool to set up your own photography business.

DIVERSE OPPORTUNITIES TO EXPAND YOUR PORTFOLIO - these days we will focus on capturing expressive and rare colored Spanish horses while running on sandy paddocks with textured backdrop of beautiful walls, posing in the gardens and stables, splashing on the beach of the Balearic Sea, performing in surroundings of unique architecture and in very artistic lights and smoke effects. 
Participation in this event is a great chance for hobbyists and experienced photographers to stretch their artistic abilities and capture hundreds (or perhaps thousands) of images of beautiful horses! This event is an exclusive and intensive program that provides a great opportunity to build your own portfolio, capture one-of-a-kind frames, and improve your photography skills through the many opportunities that we will provide you with! All this was combined with a pleasant atmosphere and lots of fun within the small group.

EXPOSE YOUR ARTWORK - The grand finale of this event will be the exposure at a photography exhibition!
With experience of exhibiting my photographs in Europe and the Middle East, I will help you to go through the process of selecting and preparing photographs for the exhibition. Participants will have the unique opportunity to help co-create the vernissage - from visiting the print shop while the photographs are being printed to installing the exhibition with layout designed by group.
Local authorities, other artists, art collectors, and architects will be invited to the opening of the exhibition. It is a great opportunity for every participant of the event to be noticed.
50% of the profit from the sold photographs will be donated to a local charity that helps horses, the other half will go to their authors.

Monday 23rd June

Tuesday 24th and Wednesday 25th June
Sessions will be scheduled from sunrise to late evening hours. These two intensive days are dedicated to creating unique shots in different locations and with different shooting scenarios, such as:

• Shooting with artificial light
• Arrangements in smoke and light
• Portraits surrounded by Spanish flora
• Stallions, mares and foals in movement
• Sessions in unique architecture
• Horses on the beach
  The sessions will be conducted according to the preliminary plan, but project participants will also be able to introduce their own visions.

Meals will be planned according to the final photo sessions schedule. During our break at the hottest hours we will spend time on pre-selection of best photographs.

Out of concern for the quality of the transferred knowledge, this event will be hosted for small group of photographers.
Taking a great care for comfort during our photo sessions and work in intimate groups is my priority. 

Arrival & departure
ARCHENA, SPAIN

Our first class will take place afternoon on 23rd of June. Please plan your arrival to Hotel Hyltor SPA**** in Archena on the Monday 23rd of June at 3pm.
Our event will end on Friday's exhibition opening. Please book your departure from Hotel Hyltor SPA**** for Saturday the 28th of June after breakfast.
 

Gear required

Please bring with you a DSLR or Mirrorless camera, 70-200mm (or simillar) & 35mm (or simillar) lenses.. Don’t forget to bring a laptop with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Lightroom software, and additional cards or external disks for storing many photos that we will take during our  practices.

Whether you are a beginner, a hobbyist or a skilled photographer, you are more than welcome to join us - our workshop will help you find answers to your questions, guide you in developing your own creative vision and will let you to boost your portfolio.
